Swimwerks Academy is a leading swim school dedicated to providing high-quality swimming lessons, swimming instructor courses, scuba diving courses, and lifesaving courses.
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team. The counter staff will support the smooth operation of the National University of Singapore sports facilities, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining safety standards. The role will require you to handle administrative tasks, assist with emergencies, and ensure proper use of all facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Counter Duties – Perform tasks such as checking membership cards and assisting visitors in their queries.
Monitor Facility Usage – Ensure proper and safe use of facilities, addressing misuse when needed.
Alert Management of Incidents – Report incidents/accidents to Sports and UTown Management Unit (SUU) promptly for appropriate action.
First Aid and Emergency Services – Provide first aid when necessary and contact emergency services. Support evacuation efforts during emergencies to ensure safety.
Report Hazards – Identify and report hazards (e.g., broken tiles, chlorine leaks) for prompt resolution.
Facility Security – Ensure all facilities are securely locked and that lights, fans, and computers are switched off following pool closure.
Lost and Found Procedures – Report and document all lost and found items with the Facility Office.
Requirements:
Punctuality and Reliability – Report for duty on time and demonstrate efficiency and dependability.
Professionalism – Maintain respectful behaviour, stay attentive, and refrain from misconduct while on duty (e.g., gossiping, eating, smoking, bring personal visitors).
Strong Communication Skills and Organisational skills.
Customer Focus – Demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude by addressing customers' needs promptly.
First Aid Certification – Candidates trained in standard first aid, CPR, or AED preferred.
Proficient in MS office.
