Electrical Drafter Responsibilities:
Develop and prepare engineering drawings (e.g., single-line diagrams, layouts, schematics, and control drawings) based on sketches and specifications from the Designer Department.
Collaborate with the Engineering Department to ensure design coordination, consistency, and accuracy.
Prepare enclosure specifications, generate material requisition orders, and verify them against drawings.
Review and maintain revisions of project drawings to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Complete drafting tasks on schedule and file documents according to document control systems.
Mechanical Drafter Responsibilities:
Design and prepare manufacturing drawings for electrical switchboards, including assembling modular drawings based on panel designs.
Perform calculations such as weight, heat loss, and air flow simulations as needed.
Prepare Material Order Lists for mechanical parts and liaise with vendors for material inquiries.
Collaborate closely with the Manufacturing and Production teams to ensure seamless workflow.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Electrical Drafter Requirements:
NITEC or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or E&E Engineering.
Ability to read and interpret Single-Line electrical drawings.
In-house training will be provided to develop drafting skills.
Basic AutoCAD skills.
Mechanical Drafter Requirements:
Minimum Diploma or NITEC in Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge of BIM, VertexG4, and AutoCAD M&E 3D drawings.
Strong mechanical background with expertise in 2D and 3D drafting.
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints and specifications, and recognize different materials/sheet metals used in switchboards.
