About the programme:

Home Monitoring and Eldercare (HoME+) is a 24/7 non-intrusive home monitoring system placed around the home. If there is any inactivity or when the user activates the panic button, the call center would be alerted to assess if the user requires assistance. Depending on the situation, community responders from Singapore Red Cross (for non-emergency) or the SCDF (for emergencies) will be activated to provide assistance.

Job Purpose:

Provide effective operational support for HoME+ under the Community Engagement Department.
Attend physical home assessments with clients/elderly prior to the installation of devices.
Ensure clients are suitable to use HoME+ system by asking a set of qualifying questions.
Explain the usage and functionality of the devices to the clients, NOKs and partners.
Review the service level agreement with the client to ensure they fully understand the HoME+ services protocol.
Confirm that the installer has properly installed and tested the devices without any issues.
Listen to the clients' feedback and address any questions or concerns they may have.
Assist with basic payment handling and queries.
Provide minor administrative support.

Working details:

10am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (except public holidays)

1-year contract role

Qualifications
Min GCE ‘N’ or ’O’ Level or (Higher) Nitec

Additional Skills & Knowledge:

Able to work independently as well as a good team player, with the ability to relate well to people of all levels, especially elderly individuals.
Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, meticulous, and able to multitask effectively.
Patience, empathy, and understanding when engaging with elderly individuals, ensuring they feel comfortable and respected during the installation process.
Ability to converse in dialects such as Hokkien and Cantonese will be advantageous in communicating with elderly individuals from diverse backgrounds.
