Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Job Summary:
Assist in kitchen operations, focusing on food preparation, processing, cleaning, and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:


Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, drains, equipment, utensils, and light equipment, both daily and periodically.
Dispose of food waste and sanitize waste bins.
Assist in daily food preparation as assigned by the Head Chef.
Ensure all food is processed following corporate and government hygiene and sanitation standards.
Operate cleaning equipment safely and report any faulty equipment to management.
Maintain a neat, professional appearance at all times.
Perform additional duties as directed by the Head Chef.


Requirements:


Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to sanitation standards.
Willingness to assist in food preparation tasks.
Capability to operate cleaning equipment safely.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Proficiency in food preparation and processing.
Knowledge of corporate and government hygiene and sanitation standards (Food and Safety Hygiene Cert) .
Experience in operating and maintaining kitchen equipment safely.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and customers.
