Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of ACMV/HVAC systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Support the maintenance team in ensuring that daily air-conditioning thermal comfort levels meet acceptable standards.
  • Adhere to quality standards and safety regulations during daily operations and maintenance tasks.
  • Provide updates and status reports on assigned tasks to senior engineers, supervisors, and other team members.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other professionals to help identify and implement practical solutions to operational challenges.
  • Contribute to the development of energy-efficient strategies and assist in the implementation of process improvements for energy conservation.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of detailed reports and documentation related to ACMV system performance.
  • Support the creation of maintenance schedules and plans, ensuring that all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are properly organized.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for maintenance and installation projects, ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with project requirements.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for equipment/system issues, contributing to the development and execution of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance work activities for ACMV systems, in line with operational priorities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Facilities Management, Mechanical, or a related field)
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; no prior experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of ACMV/HVAC systems is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of general engineering principles and an eagerness to learn about ACMV systems.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in facilities management and engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning and contributing to team objectives.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong desire to develop technical and project management skills.

Additional Skills (Preferred, but not required):

  • Familiarity with building regulations and health & safety standards.
  • Knowledge of construction principles and building processes.
