What you will be doing
• Responsible for all beverages concerned inclusive of daily purchases of stock and daily sales;
• Setting the tables and assisting the Captain in seating the members/guests;
• Greet, present menu to members/guests and take orders;
• Serves food according to service procedure;
• Bar station to be ready upon arrival of the first member/guest for service;
• Report to the supervisor any discrepancy when happens;
• Ensure total cleanliness in bar areas inclusive of storage, sink, floor, glasses, etc;
• Recommend and introduce drinks to members/guests to promote sales for the bar;
• To handle and set up bar services station for banquets and meetings if required;
• Maintain and upkeep good personal hygiene and sanitation according to food handlers’ requirements as well as high work and safety standards in the workplace;
• Report on time, in proper uniform and grooming;
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time by management.
What we are looking for
• Preferably with working experience in the related field;
• Proficiency in basic oral English, and another language is a plus (to liaise with the English & Mandarin-speaking associates);
• Great team player and customer service oriented;
• Willing to learn and adapt to various line positions;
• A valid Basic Food Hygiene certificate is a must;
• Candidates with experience in F&B will be considered for the Captain position;
• Able to perform split shift duties on a 6-day work week.
