The Job:

• Develop and implement long-term retail strategies to achieve company goals and drive sustainable growth.

• Oversee the execution of retail expansion plans and ensure alignment with brand objectives.

• Manage annual budgeting and provide input into sales forecasts to meet financial targets.

• Cultivate company culture and motivate both front-line and back-office teams.

• Collaborate with the Head Office to oversee the rollout of new stores across the region.

• Drive operational standards, customer service, and visual presentation to meet regional benchmarks.

• Build strong relationships with operations managers and field teams to ensure effective store processes.

• Monitor sales data and competitor trends to implement strategies targeting key business areas.

• Partner with HR to recruit and develop talent within the retail organization.

• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to drive traffic, sales, and maintain stock availability.

The Talent:

• Diploma or Degree in Retail Management, Business, or a related field

• Professional experience in the retail sector

• Strong commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail and a focus on customer service

• Proficient in managing financial aspects (budget, daily store figures) with a proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability, even in challenging market conditions

• Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities

• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and delivering presentations

• A team-oriented individual, dedicated to both team success and personal performance.
