Workplace Safety & Health Officer
Job description:
Report to EHS Department;
To assist and advise the Project Manager on EHS planning for project scope and activities;
Responsible for all EHS matters, consultation and legal compliance;
Arrange and/or conduct EHS training, emergency drill exercises, site inspections, housekeeping, audits, coaching discussions, incident investigation and EHS committee meetings as well as document meeting minutes;
Analyze data on EHS performance, conditions, and practices;
Promote positive EHS awareness, culture and practices
Evaluate the impact of health hazards on employee’s safety and prioritize issues based on severity;
Highlight barriers in complying with EHS policy and procedure;
Propose corrective and preventive measures to address the root cause of the incident;
Manage EHS data entry, document control, filing and all types of EHS administrative works;
Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Job Requirements:
·Candidate must be a MOM registered WSHO 2 years post registration.
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the construction industry.
Past experiences in working on Statutory Boards projects, preferably with HDB project.
Possessing a recognized ECO and ECMO license will be a plus.
Good communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge in ISO and ConSASS audit.
