Overview:
The Executive / Senior Executive / Assistant Manager will support the operations of the various clinical divisions under the Department of Medicine. He / She will also be required to support departmental service planning, procurement, communication needs and ensure financial feasibility of clinical services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of clinical service(s) within the assigned divisions
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a holistic service delivery that generates positive experience for patients along the continuum of care.
- Conduct proper planning of new clinical service(s) where assigned, which incluudes providing projections on workload, identifying resources required and getting the necessary approvals to secure these resources, and manage key project timelines to deliver the project(s) on a timely basis and within budget.
- Secure budget and monitor utilization as well as manage procurement of equipment and consumables to support the operation of the clinic / ward.
- Support content creation and delivery on Communications channels for the Department (this includes EDM, Instagram, etc) for internal and external audiences.
- Support any Departmental-wide initiatives that impact clinical areas.
- Support any other duties or projects as assigned by Reporting Officer.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor degree preferably in any of the following - Business Management or Administration, Biomedical Science, Life Science.
- Good analytical skills.
- Experience in project management.
- Practical knowledge of hospital operations (ideal but not a must).
- Strong writing, editing and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Able to work in a team-based environment.
