Job Summary

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer (Windows) to handle access controls, resolve technical issues, and create project documentation for a renowned bank.

Mandatory Skill-set

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or IT technical discipline;
  • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in managing Windows environment with about 3-5 years of experience in financial institutes;
  • Hands-on experiences in Windows Security threats & vulnerabilities management;
  • Own, manage and report the stock of audit findings & remediation implementations in the Windows security landscape;
  • Subject matter expert on core technologies – Windows 2012, Windows 2016, Windows 2019 Hyper-V and Microsoft Failover Clustering;
  • In depth hands on knowledge/experience with HPE hardware (DL, BL, Synergy, Simplivity series;
  • Knowledge and/or hands on working experience with patching tools (Altiris, SCCM) and Active Directory;
  • Knowledge and/or hands on working experience with emerging technologies – Cloud IaaS;
  • The role involves rotating shifts to cover business hours, with on-call support required on weekdays and weekends.

Desired Skill-set

  • Knowledge of VMware technologies (vSphere, vCenter, VROPS, VRLI) will be an advantage;
  • Scripting Knowledge in PowerShell or Workflow integration would be added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop features to support the enterprise and security scenarios in Windows;
  • Reproducing, debugging and fixing customer-reported problems;
  • Prioritizing your collection of work and delivering fixes in a timely fashion to meet deadlines;
  • Collaborating with escalation engineers and other partner teams across Windows to debug, develop, test and ship updates;
  • Finding ways to improve products, tools, and processes for long-term benefit for Windows and customers;
  • Capture and refine information security requirements and effectively integrate them into information systems through architecting, design and configuration management;
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with established policies and standards;
  • Conduct cyber risk assessment to help identify IT related risk and determine appropriate controls to mitigate risks.
