ACCOUNTANT
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Manage monthly and annual close processes. At the end of the month and year, to record information such as accrual, deferral, reclass, and interdepartmental entries into the company’s accounting ledger.
- To perform account analysis to make sure that entries and balances are correct.
- Partner with the FP&A
- Evaluate and present meaningful and timely BU results to HOD and management
- On a regular basis, to reconcile accounts with the general ledger.
- To ensure that all entries are accurate and that transactions are reported in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations.
- Prepare balance sheet and P&L schedules
- Prepare management reporting and recharges
- Prepare exhibition actual and forecast and cashflow
- Process Suppliers’ invoices and posting in accounting system
- Month end external and intercompany billing
- Staff claims processing
- Involvement in annual and interim external and internal audits
- Perform revenue billing to clients and follow up on collection
- Work with tax agents to prepare and finalise tax returns, and answer tax queries (if any)

- Liaise with external consultants to maintain and fine tune functions and financial reports and future projects
- Accounting systems reporting
- Working with consultants to develop new reports and functions where required
- Assist in any ad-hoc reporting and projects that may be assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Degree /Diploma in accountancy/ ACCA/ CPA
- About 5 years of working experience in handling Financial GL and full sets accounting preferably in the entertainment/events industry
- Experience in progress billing accounting would be a plus
- Highly organized and manage multiple priorities and assignments at the same time.
- Display a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
- Have a strong eye for details. Team player.
