Assistant Manager, Community Partnership
Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Manager, you are responsible for the development of strategic and meaningful collaborations with corporate partners and volunteers. The objective is to raise the Society’s branding, bring awareness to our mission and to raise funds for our programmes. You will work with existing partners and cultivate new relationships through networking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic and meaningful collaborations, relationships with corporate partners, individuals and other potential givers.
- Plan and develop key projects and fundraising initiatives in line with the cancer messaging (e.g. World Cancer Day ), raise funds and build a vibrant cancer community.
- Perform the role of custodian for assigned accounts and act as the interface between the partners and the Society, by understanding the account’s needs and objectives
- Designing the strategy for engagement, developing new opportunities of giving and reporting on the impact of the engagement.
- Lead the Account Management (AM) by nurturing existing and procuring new relationships. Acting as the relationship manager between the Society and its external partners.
- Manage the designated accounts to ensure continuity of support from partners through the AM process of knowing corporate partners, aligning our and partners’ CSR plans, coordinating with internal stakeholders and developing new opportunities for sustainable long-term relationship.
- Manage sponsorships, promotions and marketing key projects and events to promote the Society’s profile at strategically significant philanthropic meet-ups, events and conferences.
- Provide oversight for volunteers development and engagement. To work with staff to execute the volunteer plans and ensure smooth operations.
- Responsible for the partners and volunteers recognition framework to cultivate sustainable relationships in support of SCS mission.
Criteria:
- At least 5 years of fundraising experience and clients, stakeholders and/or donors, volunteers management experience
- A relevant Degree (Preference given to Commerce)
- Good understanding of Corporate CSR in Singapore
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical mindset
