Job Summary

Responsible for supporting regional supply chain team to ensure smooth flowing of goods/products through the entire value stream in order to meet customer requirements by ensuring on time delivery of products at the right quality & cost; responsible for identifying improvement opportunities within the network and executing projects which deliver against agreed KPIs including safety, quality, service and costs; acts as primary liaison between regional teams and corporate functions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Mainly Support the development and execution of the GAR APM Supply Chain Strategy, in collaboration with all stakeholders, to achieve operational excellence and financial goals
  • Drive and support business continuity initiatives, working across the organisation to maintain resilience
  • Lead the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, lower costs and increase service levels throughout the end-to-end Supply Chain
  • Collaborate with key internal and external partners to understand and respond to changing market dynamics, demand fluctuations and regulatory changes
  • Develop and implement robust processes to track and report performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and distributors to drive innovation and improve performance
  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
  • Coordinate cross functional teams to address supply disruptions and ensure business continuity
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the regional supply chain teams to ensure alignment with global strategies and objectives

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Proven experience in leading complex projects and driving change in a large, matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in working in a highly regulated environment preferred
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and six sigma methodologies desirable
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
