
Clinical Sales Specialist
We are recruiting a Clinical Sales Specialist who preferably has experience in nursing, clinical support and/or sales of medical devices in the operative theatre, to be our primary representative for our surgical devices portfolio.
You must be a customer and product centric person who enjoys learning new things and thrives in a dynamic environment. Strong interpersonal skills will be needed to build effective relationships with customers as effective management of customer service and support is essential to the role.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with sales manager to establish good rapport with customers through excellent customer service for customer retention and market expansion
- Manage technical inquiries and provide timely updates or resolutions on quality or technical issues (pre- and post-sales)
- Perform in-service, product demonstrations, product presentations and evaluations with health care professionals
- Communicate expeditiously any product or supply issues to Quality Assurance team as well as manufacturer
- Assist in marketing activities and keep abreast with new products and technology trends (product R&D)
- Educate internal and external personnel on subject matter and products
- Achieve annual sales target set by the sales manager
- Assist in inventory control and management of stock consignment to customers
Pre-requisites:
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medical Technology, Science, Engineering, Life Sciences or related field
- More than 3 years’ experience as a nurse or technician in operating theatre environment or at least 2 years’ experience in a similar clinical support capacity in the medical device industry preferred.
- Quick learner, team player and ability to work independently
- Mature and able to handle stress during case support in the operating theatres
- Takes pride in self and work, result-oriented and meticulous
- Good communication skills with a vibrant and cheerful personality
