Role Description
When your client says, “it’s not right but I don’t know why”; or it’s 9pm and they ask for new artwork by 10 next morning; or they’re relieving stress by yelling at you – can you de-escalate, stay pleasant, and turn tense situations around?
When your project team says they can’t do what the client wants, grapples with impossible deadlines, or makes a critical mistake – can you manage client expectations, shield your team, and still impress the client?
Account management is no walk in the park – heck, nothing in the events industry is. It’s fast-paced, high-pressure, and a constant juggle. But when you overcome the challenges, it’s a kick like none other.

Day in the Life:
• Communicate extensively with clients to understand their goals (and every single project detail), then ensure the Content and Project teams are fully aligned
• Help clients figure out what they want when they don’t know
• Collaborate closely with Project team to ensure that everything that’s produced meets expectations
• Balance Project team constraints with client demands, managing the relationships on both sides with lots of empathy
• Manage and exceed client expectations. Every. Single. Day.
• Maintain a great relationship with clients (even the dreaded ones) so they keep coming back to you with new projects
• Morph into a jack of all trades on event days, plugging operational gaps and smoothing over hiccups to keep the client happy
You:
• Relish challenges, thrive on learning, and pride yourself on your interpersonal skills
• Are articulate and communicate well
• Are street-smart and know how to help people trust you
• Are an empathetic team player
• Have at least 4 years of corporate-client management experience, in one of the following roles: Account management; Project management; Sales; Business development; Event management
• Are able to show us rave reviews from your clients
• Preferably have agency experience
