Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with engineering consultants & contractors to understand their engineering needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales process.
  • Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to align customer needs with the company’s offerings.
  • Prepare and negotiate quotations, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress in CRM systems.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or min Engineering Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven track record in technical sales or related roles (2–5 years of experience preferred).
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of pumping principles and ability to quickly grasp product specifications.
  • Sales Acumen: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze customer requirements and provide innovative solutions.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Tools: Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and technical drawing tools (preferred).
  • Previous experience: Previously worked in companies selling heavy equipment for buildings services preferred, eg HVAC, pumps, cooling towers, variable speed drives, piping system, pipe components, etc.
