- Strong IT project management and analytical skills for executing projects and evaluating ROI.
- Excellent communication skills for effective liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring alignment.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards in banking, ability to manage workloads, and lead cross-functional teams across diverse cultures.
- Ability to manage and prioritize large workloads and deliver projects within tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage or lead cross-function teams and appreciate diverse cultures to facilitate smooth communications between Head Office, Singapore office, and subsidiaries or affiliates.
- Ability to speak Bahasa languages will be a plus as the role is required to work closely with SMBC subsidiary in Indonesia on project delivery.
- Proficiency in both English and Japanese is highly preferred as this role needs to prepare reports in Japanese for reporting to Head Office in Japan. This role also needs to present and communicate with stakeholders and counterparts in Tokyo Head Office who mainly communicate in Japanese.
