Job Description
- Responsible for implementation and monitoring of Workplace Safety & Health and Environmental Management Systems at work sites
- Conduct regular WSH Safety inspections, ensure follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance to Company’s ISO & OSHAS policies
- Work closely with site operations staff and Project Managers on all Workplace Safety and Health issues
- Conduct accident / incident investigations and recommendations on corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- To ensure risk assessment and safe working procedure are properly executed on site, revise and enforce when needed
- Conduct job hazard analysis to determine safe working practices and engineering controls
- Maintain and update all WSH records, certificates and reports in accordance with WSH legislation
- To assist Project Manager to liaise and co-ordinate with stakeholders, authorities, agencies and consultants employed by Developer / Client
- Prepare and submit Site Environmental Control Programme of the construction site before work commences on the worksite
- Provide and conduct Safety training for all new employees and workers
- Actively monitor and prevent environmental health issues within construction sites
- Advising construction site contractors on environmental remediation measures, facilitating compliance with the environmental laws, carrying out site inspections and engagement of stakeholders for environmental lapses, as well as educating workers on maintaining good environmental health standards
- Prepare and submit a Site Environmental Control Programme and Report to the Occupier of the construction site
- Identify environmental issues and recommend measures to rectify the irregularities
Requirements
- Registered WSHO with Ministry of Manpower
- Much be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- At least have 3 years of relevant working experiences in construction industry (Preferred)
- Good knowledge of Safety Regulations and Procedures
- Singaporean/Singapore PR (Preferred)
