Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Assist the Crewing Manager in overseeing crew operations across multiple vessels.
- Coordinate seafarers onboarding process, including interviews, medical check-ups, travel, lodging, PPE issuance, and joining briefings.
- Verify and manage seafarers licences, permits, certifications, and other required documentation.
- Process applications for Seafarers and Tanker Endorsements with relevant flag authorities.
- Maintain accurate records of monthly crewing and training documentation.
- Review and prepare invoices related to the Crewing Department's monthly operations.
- Brief seafarers on employment contracts, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Liaise with manning agencies and recruitment partners to source and manage seafarers.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in crew management for vessels
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive and positive work attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Well-organized with good communication and coordination skills.
