Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Crewing Manager in overseeing crew operations across multiple vessels.
  • Coordinate seafarers onboarding process, including interviews, medical check-ups, travel, lodging, PPE issuance, and joining briefings.
  • Verify and manage seafarers licences, permits, certifications, and other required documentation.
  • Process applications for Seafarers and Tanker Endorsements with relevant flag authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of monthly crewing and training documentation.
  • Review and prepare invoices related to the Crewing Department's monthly operations.
  • Brief seafarers on employment contracts, company policies, and operational procedures.
  • Liaise with manning agencies and recruitment partners to source and manage seafarers.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in crew management for vessels
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive and positive work attitude.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Well-organized with good communication and coordination skills.
