Brand Marketing Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic, creative, and driven Brand Marketing Manager to enhance our marketing efforts, grow our client base, and strengthen our brand in the marketplace. In this role, you will lead, develop, and execute branding and social media strategies, focusing on building brand awareness, attracting new clients, and engaging our online community. This position is essential to expanding our reach, nurturing client relationships, and supporting business growth through creative marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Management
- Lead the implementation of a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with our business objectives and resonates with our customer segments.
- Define and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistent application across all customer touchpoints, including but not limited to social media, emails, videos and onsite activations.
- Conduct regular brand audits to assess market perception and identify areas for improvement.
Social Media Management
- Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and execute a multi-channel social media strategy aimed at engaging our stakeholders (e.g. prospects, clients, partners, vendors, employees etc.), fostering a stronger following among said stakeholders and increasing brand visibility.
- Develop, design and execute content for a content calendar for social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
- Monitor social media trends and analyze suitable performance metrics to optimize the social media strategy.
Public Relations & Communications
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry media outlets.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to secure media coverage and enhance brand reputation.
- Create relevant, timely content such as press releases, email invitations and media kits for events, partnership announcements and marketing campaigns.
Collaborative Client Acquisition
- Work with the Business Development team to design and launch targeted marketing campaigns that increase awareness of and generate leads for partnership events.
- Support the Business Development team in their outreach efforts, with the goal of securing sponsorship opportunities.
- Analyse and optimise all marketing and outreach campaigns.
Event Marketing
- Organise and lead the execution of onsite activations, including but not limited to two annual client appreciation events (one in the mid-year and the other in the year-end) and one brand showcase per year.
- Ensure all promotions for onsite activations align with event objectives and highlight the UP brand positively.
- Track and report on success of all event marketing efforts, providing insights on future event marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years in marketing, with a strong track record in brand strategy, social media management and marketing campaigns. Experience in the events industry is advantageous.
- A strong understanding of how different social media channels work, key performance metrics and digital tools such as HubSpot and Canva.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English language, with a flair for storytelling and audience engagement.
- The versatility to work across teams, including the Business Development, Event Ops (to procure event resources) and Creative (to design the required visuals for content) teams.
- Avid analytical thinker with a knack for uncovering insights from data and leveraging those insights to adjust campaigns.
