Main responsibilities

  • Perform sweeping and mopping of floors based on infection control practices.
  • Perform dialysis chair and patient environment external disinfection under the clinical team supervision.
  • Perform dusting of nurse station and reception countertops, loose furniture and other items that may need to do so.
  • Scrubbing and sanitizing of toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
  • Perform clinical and general waste management
  • Liaising with the line manager to ensure always have sufficient cleaning products.
  • Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.
  • Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done.
  • Any other tasks or duties that your head of department assigns to you.

Education / Training / Experience

  • At least PSLE certification or equivalent
  • Preferably with experience in dialysis setting
  • Candidates with no relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Training will be provided for those without renal experiences.
  • Willing to be trained on basic infection control standards and practices
  • Available to work mornings, evenings and weekends.

  • Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.

  • Can multitask effectively and efficiently.
  • Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
