Role Details
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of video editing (specifically for paid ads on Meta/TikTok).

Compensation
- Base Salary: $2000 - $3,000 USD per month (based on experience & creative volume)
- Performance Bonuses: $500 for every ad creative variant that scales past $100,000 in spend
Required Skills & Experience
- Creative Execution (Concept & Strategy)
- Strong storytelling ability – you know how to structure an ad for maximum engagement and conversions
- Deep understanding of video ad trends and best practices.
- Ability to incorporate motion graphics, basic animation, and engaging visual elements to enhance video effectiveness.
- Attention to detail with subtitles, branding, grammar and spelling
- Video Editing (Technical Skills)
- Experience editing short-form video ads (under 60s)
- Experience editing Video Sales Letters(3-5+ minutes)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar video editing tools.
- Expertise in pacing, sound design, transitions, and text overlays to maximize engagement.
- Workflow & Project Management
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once while meeting tight deadlines.
- Highly organized with efficient file management and version control.
- Communication & Collaboration
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across different time zones.
- Open to feedback and able to make revisions quickly based on performance insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form direct-response video ads (15-60 sec) as well as medium to long-form direct-response VSL ads (3-5+ minutes)
- Cut, arrange, and edit raw footage into engaging, high-converting ads and VSLs.
- Select the best hooks, transitions, and pacing to capture attention within the first 3 seconds.
- Add burned-in subtitles, motion graphics, and overlays to maximise engagement.
- Work with our Ad Strategists to optimize ads based on performance data.
- Stay up to date with top-performing ad trends to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and high-performing.
- Ensure all videos meet high-quality standards and are delivered on time.
Team Collaboration & Communication
- Slack Channels: For all internal communication.
- Weekly Team Syncs: 30-minute stand-up every Monday at 3 PM PST.
- Feedback & Revisions: Editors must be open to revisions based on ad performance and feedback.
