Job Description

The Market Manager will be the main contact between our accommodation partners and Traveloka, with the responsibility of nurturing the relationship with our key supply partners and driving mutual growth. A key responsibility in developing our business is the ability to identify and acquire new sources of Accommodation supply and product offerings in Hong Kong while maintaining existing relationships.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prioritize, and contact new accommodation properties and ensure pricing and availability competitiveness in assigned markets.

  • Manage top accounts – own, develop, and manage top accounts in assigned destinations, and ensure the team develops mutually beneficial accommodation property

  • Report, analyze, implement, and monitor agreed KPIs, able to analyze, visualize, and discuss trends, issues, and opportunities with team and manager.

  • Understand the industry and its developments – very good knowledge of the pros and cons of competitor models, market trends & landscape, accommodation rate structure, and yield

  • Optimize the use of processes and systems, familiar with the full spectrum of business tools, and ensure the use of the systems

  • Guide the hotels in entering information into the extranet to completion.

  • Work with hotels on promotional activities to increase bookings.

  • Resolve issues relating to accounting, allotment, vouchers, notifications, and cancellations.

  • Prepare materials to aid in growing our business during partner

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of acquiring and account management in the hotel, travel, or e-commerce industry, especially OTA channels preferred

  • Analytical and proven track record in using data to drive strategy and make decisions

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Fluent in writing and speaking English. The ability to speak Mandarin is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or relevant tools
