Job Description:
- Lead the planning and implementation of project
- Plan and schedule project timelines, monitor project costing, work progress
- Ability to liaise with parties involved in the project (including clients, consultants, and sub-contractors)
- Ensure sound administration and communication flow between the project team and the other related parties
- Co-ordinate with and instruct sub-contractors / suppliers on timely delivery of materials and handover of projects with good workmanship
- Advise sub-contractors on construction methods
- Attend to consultants/client needs and requests and constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Monitor project plans from develop, monitor, control progress to deliver within the defined time frame;
- Prepare progress reports as defined by internal requirements, customers and management, giving up-to-date status of all aspects of the project
- Lead and manage a team of operational staff to meet the project objectives & targets;
- Oversee project to ensure completion on time within the scope and budget
- Recognize and solve potential problems and evaluate project / program effectiveness
- Observe proper construction safety measures and ensure safety compliance at site
- Perform any other ad hoc duties
Requirements:
∙ Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or its equivalent or higher.
∙ Comprehensive understanding of the contract documents (drawings and specifications), ,
construction sequencing and project schedule requirement.
∙ Preferred relevant work experience in Building Projects.
