RESPONSIBILITIES

Overview of the role

We're looking for an organised and meticulous individual to work with us on Financial Reporting. This 1-year contract role will work closely with the Senior Manager in accounting and reporting of Hafnia's joint ventures.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the full set of accounts for Joint Ventures and conduct analytical reviews on monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for the profit/loss, balance sheet and cash flow of the joint venture (including bank reconciliations).
  • Oversee the timely re-billing of costs to related parties.
  • Prepare the monthly reporting package for joint venture partners and participate in monthly Joint Venture reviews with the JV finance lead and foster collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Prepare audited financial statements, audit schedules, and coordinate with auditors for the year end audit.
  • Manage entity tax compliance.
  • Assist with adhoc projects as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Accountancy or related discipline.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in accounting related field
  • Strong computer skills and experience in computerized accounting/ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Navision) is an advantage.
  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
  • Organized, meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
