Responsibilities:

· You will liaise closely to the Head of the Project and Management on workplace safety, health, and environmental issues to maintain a high level of safety at the sites.

· To oversee the entire operations and see the overall safety of the entire project.

· Responsible for Managing the health and safety initiatives across the entire company.

· Champion lead of WSH Department.

· Develop, implement, and monitor company Environment Health Safety (EHS) Programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations.

· Review and maintain site's environmental, health and safety records, advise on site management.

· Enforces all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations.

· Conducts regular site safety inspection and enforce compliance of prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations

· Ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of environmental health are in proper working condition and do not pose any environmental health hazard.

· Conduct monthly Safety committee meetings and put-up safety reports, including safety issues before work commences on the worksite.

· Compiles all relevant reports and records and carry out daily safety inspection.

· Advise on work plan / Risk Assessment / safe work procedures.

· Attend to all feedback on such irregularities and inform the Head of the project and Management accordingly.

· Attend the site safety audit conducted by Authority and Client’s representatives.

· Coordinate Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) drills and the maintenance of emergency response equipment.

· Implement Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) and communicate it to stakeholders.

· Implement Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS) and Risk Management (RM) plans within scope of own work.

· Maintain WSHMS documentation AND Monitor the implementation progress.

· Able to lead fellow colleagues and inculcate them towards safe work culture.

· Prepare and plan for documents for Company/ Authority audits.

· Carry out training to all workers, staff, and site personnel on EHS.

· Continuous improvement on EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO 14001:2015; ISO 9001:2015; and ISO 4501:2018 management standards.

Requirements:

· Must be a Singapore Registered Safety Officer / Workplace Safety & Health Officer with Ministry of Manpower (Singapore)

· Must have professional knowledge in WSHE legislation and regulations (WSH act and Environment)

· Minimum Diploma /Specialist Diploma /Degree in relevance to WSH
