Supply Chain Asst Analyst (E2E Vendor Direct)
This role is responsible for end-to-end planning of the vendor direct materials based on MRP requirements: issuing and monitoring the completion of the PO’s, working with the freight forwarders for booking the vessels, managing synchronized shipments of Vendor direct with PGCS components and active follow-up with Customer Service teams on any changes to the customer request date for vendor direct.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Freight management for Vendor direct materials
- Manage seamless execution of all NPI/innovation projects to meet launch dates.
- Management of freight carrier on hold invoices
- Resolution of freight issues & Singapore
- Tracking of any backorders and escalating where appropriate
- Maintenance of freight tables
- Route maintenance
- Freight optimization and identification of efficiencies
- Support development and implementation of new supply chain processes.
- Regular connects with freight carrier and development and review of KPIs
- Regular connects with freight carrier.
- Active participation at quarterly KPI reviews
- Ensuring synchronized shipments (the same vessel or the same shipment week) for vendor direct materials with the PGCS components
- Active follow-up with Customer Service teams on any changes to the customer request date for vendor direct.
Vendor management:
- Issuing of POs to the vendors and daily monitoring of the confirmation and delivery dates
- Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance, working closely with Procurement.
- Management of VD complaint and NCR processes for service
- Collaborating with Quality in relation to complaints, metrics, trends
- Escalating and collaborating with Procurement when appropriate
Managing VD metrics:
- Timely reporting of Vendor Direct Metrics
- Demand Change request metrics
- Monthly Operational Scorecard Singapore
- Collaborate with Demand Planning on OTD management
- Presentation of monthly scorecard to senior management
- Collaborate with IT function on automation and reporting requirements
GCS Controls:
- Ensure all internal & external compliance responsibilities relating to Carrier Management are met including GCS & SOX controls
- Responsible for the maintenance of the VD process flow and GCS controls ensuring internal & external compliance is met
Master Data Maintenance & Accuracy:
- Collaborate with plant procurement and customer engagement teams on data accuracy of VD lead times, MOQ’s, Shipping & Storage Conditions, Hazardous & Temperature Controlled Conditions for Singapore
- Lead data cleanse and analysis activities
PRE-REQUISITES
1. Education or Professional Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Inventory or Materials Planning
2. Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a related Supply Chain or Operations role particularly in raw materials planning, S&D ambient
- Strong operational experience in a dynamic multinational organization
- Experience working closely with third parties and colleagues in remote locations to deliver business objectives an advantage
- Experience in FMCG is a plus.
3. Knowledge and job skills
- SAP MM and PP modules
- Report generation in SAP BI/BO
- Power BI knowledge would be an advantage
- Strong Excel capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple and complex tasks
- Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
4. Soft skills
- High attention to detail
- Self-managing individual with confidence to escalate to manager for support as required
- Experience in multi-tasking/managing priorities, diverse activities and multiple projects
