
Business Development Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth and build strong relationships with clients and partners. The ideal candidate will have a blend of account management expertise and sales acumen, with a focus on identifying new opportunities and fostering long-term partnerships.
Account Management
- Oversee the execution of all pre and post-sales processes, including generating proposals, contracts, and invoices in alignment with the company’s standard operating procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing inquiries promptly.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new leads and opportunities to align with growth strategies.
- Qualify prospects to uncover cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across multiple product and service lines.
- Conduct impactful sales and partnership presentations with key stakeholders, including corporations, associations, and media partners.
- Attend local and international industry events to generate leads, build strategic partnerships, and enhance market visibility.
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct thorough market research and data mining to source new leads, analyze competitor activities, and stay updated on industry trends.
- Leverage industry insights to develop effective business strategies and identify untapped opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development (preferably in the Meetings & Events industry or B2B sales).
Skills & Attributes:
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- A proactive, results-driven approach with strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
