- Lead and provide the supervision to the Finance, IT, Corporate Planning, HR, GA, Manufacturing and QA organization for POKKA Group.
- Promote team effectiveness by providing direction and fostering trusting and supportive partnerships both within and outside of the leadership team.
- Establish the strong working relationship and business partnership with the key stakeholders.
- Work with key functions for developing and rolling business plan with managing financial goals, facilitate high level decisions.
- Design and implement key investment strategies while sustaining financial stability.
- Lead necessary restructuring plans and/or corporate projects (M&A, strategic alliance etc).
- Establish and maintain effective operational processes and procedures.
- Ensure that the organization's activities are aligned with strategic goals.
- Monitor KPIs to track operational success.
- Foster a positive organizational culture and promote teamwork and collaboration.
- Set expectations, provide guidance, and evaluate the performance of senior leaders.
- Manage the overall financial activities of the organizations; control its financial resources and ensure that all financial transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
- Transform the operation/planning capability to maximize group-wide efficiency & effectiveness, providing transparency to management team.
- Orchestrate key departments in budget, finance, business planning and develop and provide financial information, plans and projections for POKKA Group.
- Lead Finance & Accounting and other corporate functions (IT, Corporate Planning, HR, GA, Legal), Manufacturing and QA to support to deliver daily operations and to achieve the group’s short & mid-term goals.
- Identify and drive opportunities to cultivate capabilities in operation teams.
- Manage overall corporate risks and maintain governance code in the group, collaborating with Sapporo holdings Legal Department or external advisors/government bodies.
- Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or Finance degree. CPA is preferable.
- Min 10 years’ experience as Finance Director or Head of Finance.
- Knowledge of Accounting Policies and Internal Control Standards.
- Experience in FMCG is a must and preferable in the Beverage industry.
- CIMA would be advantageous
- Proficient in Japanese is essential to communicate with Japan HQ.
- Experienced in working with Human Resource Department.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and manage people/team in a complex, changing environment to delivery value-added results.
- Experience working on or leading cross-functional project teams.
- Problem solver and critical thinker mindset.
- Excellent in negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
