Job Role Summary

Oversee Finance, Corporate functions (IT, Corporate Planning, HR, GA, Legal), Manufacturing and Quality Assurance of POKKA Group, coordinate with Sapporo holdings’ relevant functions. Develop and deliver financial, business strategy and KPIs.

Area of Responsibility

Strategy And Direction

Lead and provide the supervision to the Finance, IT, Corporate Planning, HR, GA, Manufacturing and QA organization for POKKA Group.
Promote team effectiveness by providing direction and fostering trusting and supportive partnerships both within and outside of the leadership team.
Establish the strong working relationship and business partnership with the key stakeholders.

Lead Mid-term Strategic Business Planning

Work with key functions for developing and rolling business plan with managing financial goals, facilitate high level decisions.
Design and implement key investment strategies while sustaining financial stability.
Lead necessary restructuring plans and/or corporate projects (M&A, strategic alliance etc).

Operational Management

Establish and maintain effective operational processes and procedures.
Ensure that the organization's activities are aligned with strategic goals.
Monitor KPIs to track operational success.

Leadership And Team Management

Foster a positive organizational culture and promote teamwork and collaboration.
Set expectations, provide guidance, and evaluate the performance of senior leaders.

Management Financial Analysis

Manage the overall financial activities of the organizations; control its financial resources and ensure that all financial transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
Transform the operation/planning capability to maximize group-wide efficiency & effectiveness, providing transparency to management team.
Orchestrate key departments in budget, finance, business planning and develop and provide financial information, plans and projections for POKKA Group.

Oversee F&A, HR and Other Corporate Functions, Manufacturing and QA:

Lead Finance & Accounting and other corporate functions (IT, Corporate Planning, HR, GA, Legal), Manufacturing and QA to support to deliver daily operations and to achieve the group’s short & mid-term goals.
Identify and drive opportunities to cultivate capabilities in operation teams.

Governance And Risk Management

Manage overall corporate risks and maintain governance code in the group, collaborating with Sapporo holdings Legal Department or external advisors/government bodies.

Education And Experience

Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or Finance degree. CPA is preferable.
Min 10 years’ experience as Finance Director or Head of Finance.
Knowledge of Accounting Policies and Internal Control Standards.
Experience in FMCG is a must and preferable in the Beverage industry.

CIMA would be advantageous

Aptitude And Skills

Proficient in Japanese is essential to communicate with Japan HQ.
Experienced in working with Human Resource Department.
Demonstrated ability to work with and manage people/team in a complex, changing environment to delivery value-added results.
Experience working on or leading cross-functional project teams.
Problem solver and critical thinker mindset.
Excellent in negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
