  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description:

This is a full time role for a Procurement Engineer located in Tuas Crescent. Our clients provide solution for diesel engine, propulsion and power generation to shipyards and ship owners. This role focuses on sourcing and identifying suppliers for both direct and indirect materials and services to support new projects and production needs. It involves obtaining quotes, negotiating prices, and ensuring cost competitiveness while also qualifying and onboarding new suppliers into the Approved Vendor List. The position requires conducting supplier qualification audits, performance reviews, and maintaining procurement procedures to ensure workflow consistency. Additionally, responsibilities include developing supply agreements, collaborating with various departments to establish supply chain models, and ensuring product quality standards. The role also involves providing quotation templates and pricing to the Sales department, along with handling any other tasks or projects assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Min 3 years relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of exposure in components sourcing and fabrication parts.
