
Service Technician
Position Summary
To provide efficient after-sales technical services and support, including assembly, pre-delivery inspection, delivery, installation and commissioning, trouble-shooting, maintenance and servicing of equipment and its related parts.
Job Responsibilities
Technical Support, Quality and Service Standards
- Responsible for the successful completion of scheduled service jobs & ad hoc troubleshooting.
- Perform and complete all service jobs as assigned, ensuring equipment is in good condition before handing over to customer.
- Work in co-operation with supervisor, colleagues and vendors to fulfill job requirements and resolve technical problems in meeting the expectations of external customers.
Records and Documentation
- Responsible for recording and providing accurate and complete service reports upon completion of every service jobs or visits to facilitate follow up and/or warranty claim where appropriate.
- Prepare and upkeep all equipment related documents in accordance with the documentation system and procedure of Industrial Services.
EHS and Housekeeping
- To maintain proper housekeeping and discipline at workplace as well as the client's work site so as to improve operational efficiency, whilst maintaining the good image of the Company.
- To observe safety precautions and to execute correct engineering practices at all times so as to minimize risk to self and others as well as damage to equipment and workplace.
- Act responsibly at all times to comply with the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures and work instructions of the company.
- Able to produce Risk Assessment (RA) for related jobs at site.
Job Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma or in an Engineering disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years in machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in MS Office applications preferred
- Able to interpret Electrical diagram and knowledge on instrumentation & Control
- Fluent in both written and oral English
- Have good discipline and work attitude
- A good team player
