About the role
We are currently seeking to hire a Quality Control Technician at Greenpac (S) Pte Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all wooden products meet our company’s quality standards. Your duties will include inspecting raw materials, overseeing the manufacturing process, and performing final quality checks on finished products, administering documentation.

You will collaborate closely with the production team to identify and resolve any quality issues, ensuring that only products meeting the specified criteria pass the final inspection.

What you'll be doing

  • Create & Maintain Quality related documentation of data using computer system
  • Perform quality control testing & inspection on finished products and raw materials in accordance with company procedures and design drawings
  • Support the quality system processes, audit for the site
  • Perform dimensional inspection using a variety of inspection gages & equipment.
  • Perform proper documentation including inspection stamping of quality paperwork.
  • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and Delta FAI in line with ISO 9001 requirements
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and interact effectively with all levels of staff
  • Conduct MSA (GR&R) on equipment and user for assessing measurement system
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to guide inspection processes
  • Perform all material and process (SAP) transactions at each manufacturing step
  • Ensure safety and quality compliance at all times and report any anomalies to the Manager promptly
  • Any other duties as and when assigned

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in quality control, preferably with experience in the woodworking or manufacturing industry, experience in FAI is preferrred
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking processes, materials and quality control standards
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical specifications, blueprints, and quality control data
  • Experience in using inspection tools, measuring techniques, and evaluating product quality
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with production staff and management
