
HSEQ Coordinator (Oil&Gas)
About our client: Our client is a leading Construction and Civil Engineering company supporting the Oil & Gas and Chemical Processing Industries.
About the role:
- Reporting to HSE Lead, Project in charge & Safety Manager
- In charge of site-specific area as Safety Custodian based on Site Deployment
- Attend day to day operation and co-ordinate with Site Supervisor/ ACS / PIC for scheduling site activities.
- Supervise and assist site supervisors/ foreman to conduct TBM/PST/PTT or HITS.
- Assist in daily reporting of HSE matters including manpower status and daily observation report.
- Comply to Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures & Work Instructions & ensure that it aligns with the latest legislations / Singapore Standards / Codes of Practices if applicable and Specific Project Plan
- Conduct site walk inspections and stand-down/ stand-still
- Identify hazards and apply Coach Based Intervention (BBSO).
- Respond to all HSE observations, incidents and emergencies
- Assist in investigation (5 Why’s) and corrective actions
- Assist in training programs and ensure safety awareness for SB operations
- Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of related workplace health issues in order to enhance awareness of HSE
- Conduct training (for appointed in house trainer)
- Perform ad-hoc duties and troubleshoot safety coverage as when required
- Upkeep and maintain documentation for required company’s certification such as GGBS, ISO, etc. and SHMS filing
- Assist in safety audits, safety promotions, campaigns and programs
- Evaluate, control and manage sub-contractors
- Assist and deliver root cause analysis
- Chair or attend meetings with all stakeholders pertaining to HSE matters.
- To improve and maintain a good safety culture at the worksite The Requirements
About you:
- Diploma/Degree in Workplace Safety and Health or related discipline.
- MOM-registered (WSHO) & NEA-registered (ECO) with min. 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to WSH & ENV
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Work hours: 5.5 days
