Job Description:

  • Perform routine quality checks & inspections on all incoming products
  • Conduct checks on the production raw materials, production, and company trucks
  • Generate reports and maintain quality assurance records
  • Ensuring products adherence to Singapore food regulations
  • Report non-conformances to QA manager for investigation & corrective action
  • Resolve quality issues/customer feedbacks with the team
  • Support R&D projects & assist in samples preparation
  • Provide food quality & food safety related assistance to other departments
  • Point of contact for product certifications / documents request
  • Specialise in food halal matters (part of the Halal team)
  • Performa internal audit to ensure company’s standard compliance
  • Process monitoring – GMP/Pest Control/Hygiene/Safety in the company’s compound
  • Conduct training to production team
  • Involve in the FSSC, Halal and SFA certifications
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by manage

Requirements:

  • Degree in Food Science or Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) or related
  • Minimum 2 years of related working experience in food industry
  • Knowledge in FSSC22000 or any other GFSI recognized certification.
  • Knowledge in MUIS and/or HSE requirement is an added advantage
  • Good communicative and social skills, comfortable with communicating with internal stakeholders and external parties (Eg, SFA/MUIS officer, auditors, customers, vendors, etc.)
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to multi-task and work independently
