Job Description:
- Perform routine quality checks & inspections on all incoming products
- Conduct checks on the production raw materials, production, and company trucks
- Generate reports and maintain quality assurance records
- Ensuring products adherence to Singapore food regulations
- Report non-conformances to QA manager for investigation & corrective action
- Resolve quality issues/customer feedbacks with the team
- Support R&D projects & assist in samples preparation
- Provide food quality & food safety related assistance to other departments
- Point of contact for product certifications / documents request
- Specialise in food halal matters (part of the Halal team)
- Performa internal audit to ensure company’s standard compliance
- Process monitoring – GMP/Pest Control/Hygiene/Safety in the company’s compound
- Conduct training to production team
- Involve in the FSSC, Halal and SFA certifications
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by manage
Requirements:
- Degree in Food Science or Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) or related
- Minimum 2 years of related working experience in food industry
- Knowledge in FSSC22000 or any other GFSI recognized certification.
- Knowledge in MUIS and/or HSE requirement is an added advantage
- Good communicative and social skills, comfortable with communicating with internal stakeholders and external parties (Eg, SFA/MUIS officer, auditors, customers, vendors, etc.)
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to multi-task and work independently
