· Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
· Perform routine in-process checks to ensure products meet required quality standards before release.
· Carry out tests such as sensory evaluations, microbiological, and physical/chemical tests to verify product quality.
· Maintain accurate records of test results, non-conformance reports, and certificates of analysis. Compile and submit quality reports to senior management.
· Evaluate and monitor the quality of raw materials, and assist in supplier audits and addressing quality concerns.
· Investigate production deviations, identify root causes, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
· Provide training to production staff on food safety practices and quality standards, promoting awareness across the organization.
· Ensure compliance with food safety standards and participate in internal/external audits to maintain certifications and quality systems.
Requirements:
· Education: Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC in the food manufacturing industry. Food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, GMP) is preferred. Entry-level candidates are also welcome to apply.
· Skills: Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
