Our client is an international offshore law firm handling a wide range of legal services, with a specialisation in Funds. They have a strong global presence and are looking to expand their team in Singapore.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Funds Lawyer to join the Group’s expanding regional funds group based in Singapore. Our Funds team in Singapore advises on all aspects of formation, structuring and restructuring of all types of open and closed end funds including hedge funds, private equity and venture capital, real estate and infrastructure funds. The role provides the opportunity of partnership for individuals who exemplify ambition.
About the Role
- Work closely with the Funds team
- Drafting of all fund documents
- Advisory on both commercial issues as well as technical legal issues including negotiation
- The role also entails working with a range of fund formation experts on hedge, private equity and other investment fund structures.
- Necessary training will be provided.
Requirements
- Experience working in top commercial firms would be advantageous.
- Funds experience would be an advantage, it is not a pre-requisite for the role (as training will be provided)
- Candidates with a minimum of 5 year's relevant post qualification experience who are qualified in a Commonwealth jurisdiction to apply.
- Applicants should have good work ethics and have outstanding legal and technical skills, including excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, interpersonal, communication and drafting skills and be able to work as part of a team.
- Fluency in English
This is a hybrid role, with 2 days work-from-home arrangement.
