Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teacher to lead and facilitate engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for infants and toddlers. The ideal candidate should have a love for working with young children, be a team player, and demonstrate a strong understanding of early childhood education principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct daily lessons, activities, and routines based on the school’s curriculum.
  • Support children's learning through play-based and inquiry-based experiences.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, including supervising playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional development.
  • Prepare and organize teaching materials, learning resources, and classroom setups.
  • Observe, document, and communicate children's progress and behavior to parents and colleagues.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Participate in school events, field trips, and community outreach programs.
  • Adhere to the preschool’s policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance with ECDA (Early Childhood Development Agency) regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum L1 certification with ACEY (Advanced Certificate in Early Years) and EY1 or EY2 certifications.
  • Relevant experience in a preschool or childcare setting is an advantage.
  • Passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, patience, and a nurturing personality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain one) is preferred.
