About this role:

The Retail Manager (Field Trainer/Educator) will oversee the retail operations and drive sales for our retail stores across Singapore. This role requires a driven leader with a passion for the beauty industry, exceptional sales acumen, and strong operational expertise to ensure the highest standards of customer service and store sales performance.

Retail Operational Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple retail stores, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor operational standards to ensure consistency and excellence across all stores.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide coaching to store managers.

Brand Training & Sales Coaching:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets across all stores in the area.
  • Attend brand forums and cascade sessions.
  • Host brand principal visits and presenting of business reviews.
  • Produce and maintain physical and digital education and materials.
  • Design retail guideline and training curricula within time and budget constraints.
  • Motivate and inspire store teams to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.

Team Development:

  • Recruit, train, and develop Store managers and their Beauty Advisors to ensure a high level of competence and engagement.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging continuous learning and development.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and provide ongoing feedback and support.

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure that all stores provide an outstanding customer experience, maintaining high standards of service and product knowledge.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance customer loyalty and retention.

Inventory and Merchandising:

  • Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize shrinkage.
  • Ensure that visual merchandising standards are consistently maintained to attract customers and drive sales.
  • Coordinate with the merchandising team to execute promotional activities and product launches.

Financial Management:

  • Manage the area’s budget, including sales targets, labour costs, and other operational expenses.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions to achieve financial goals.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales, expenses, and other key performance indicators for senior management.

Requirements:

  • A passion for beauty and a strong sense of creativity.
  • Strong experience in Retail Operations Management positions, with hands-on exposure in Singapore and region.
