Galilee Summer Internship Programme

Start Date: May/June 2025 (Flexible start date)

Duration: 20 weeks (Flexible based on applicant)

Interview and Selection Period: March/April

Programme Overview

Each internship programme consists of 3 distinct Phases:

  1. Phase 1 (2 weeks) - Orientation: During this phase, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of the Fund Management Industry, compliance environment and investment process.
  2. Phase 2a (8 weeks) - Attachment: During this phase, you will be attached to different funds to get firsthand experience on supporting parts of the Investment process.
  3. Phase 2b (15 weeks) - Project and Implementation: During this phase, you will be given a specific project scope of your choice, depending on your course of study. The project’s qill be made know on Week 6 of your internship. Your project proposal will be assessed and evaluated by the management, with the potential to be implemented within the Company.

Responsibilites

  • Onboarding of Investors and Investor relationship management
  • Assist with risk management assessments and internal audits
  • Update and develop company Compliance Manual, SOPs
  • Proposal, minute and report writing
  • Investment due diligence, research, financial analysis, modelling, stakeholder/scenario analysis
  • Project assignment and presentation of findings
  • Arrange and conduct meetings
  • Any other adhoc tasks assigned by mentor

  • To demonstrate understanding of a fund investment process and provide support to each process phase which includes (1) Due Diligence, (2) Research and Analysis, (3) Fund Raising, (4) Investment tracking and (5) Investor Relations Management.
  • To understand the policies and procedures to ensure compliance in Confidentiality, Information security policy, asset usage and outsourcing operations, and have a application of relevant Laws & Regulations around customer information and anti-money laundering (AML) to the customer due diligence process.
  • To understand and apply how risk management and internal audit is conducted in the context of a fund management company and its managed funds.
  • To understand basic corporate processes such as minute writing, and SOP development.

Requirements

  • You are a university undergraduate in your 2nd last or final year of your study.
  • You a Full Time Student pursuing an undergraduate degree from NUS, NTU, SMU, SIT, SUSS, or SUTD.
  • You are in one of the following courses of study - Business, Economics, Accounting, HR, Marketing, Communications, Media, IT.
  • You are able to commit to at least 3 full weekdays per week for the duration of the programme for you to be considered.
  • You have a strong inclination to work in the fund management or investment industry.
  • You are fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You can present your conclusions in a clear and well-structured manner.
  • You are proficient with the use Microsoft Office tools such as excel, powerpoint and word or Google Workspace tools such as sheets, slides and docs.
  • You are able to work independently, and within a team.
  • You are self-motivated, curious and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • You have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
