Responsibilities

  1. Prepare monthly payroll and CPF submission, year end IR8A
  2. Act as secretary in board meetings and admin meetings, including preparation of minutes in both English and Chinese version
  3. Administrative work such as preparing for committee meeting document
  4. Ordering of stationery and office supplies etc
  5. Manage staff insurance, all risk and public liability insurance renewal
  6. Conduct recruitment interviews and manage the hiring process, including preparation of employment contracts
  7. Communicate and explain the temple's HR policies to the employees
  8. Administer and verify staff leave, claims and benefits
  9. Manage staff training and developments
  10. Apply foreign workers passes and related MOM issues
  11. Maintain personnel files and HR records related to compensation, health and medical insurance
  12. Ensure that HR policies and practices are in accordance with the Government Regulations and Employment Act
  13. Liaise with government bodies ( CPF, IRAS, MOM ) and ensure compliance to statutory requirements
  14. Representative for ISO Internal Audit
  15. Administrative work assigned by the Management
  16. Assist in temple activities and any other ad-hoc projects / job assigned

Requirements

  1. Diploma in Human Resource Management
  2. Minimum 3 years relevant working experience
  3. Able to work independently
  4. Good interpersonal and written communication skills
  5. Able to work on some Public Holidays or weekends and CNY or important temple events
  6. Must be comfortable working in Buddhist temple environment
  7. Bilingual in both spoken and written English & Chinese in order to communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders effectively
  8. Able to type Chinese Characters using Hanyu Pinyin input
  9. Preferably with hands-on experience in HRMS.
