Job Purpose
This role will be responsible for leading one of our key global accounts, where you’ll work with the global GPJ team and a wider agency village to deliver complex sponsorship, exhibition and experiential marketing projects across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
Client / Account Management
- Responsible for retaining and growing the assigned account, you will proactively seek opportunities to do more for our client
- Big picture thinking - You will apply your deep understanding of the client’s needs to help shape smart, relevant & proactive proposals
- Build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring that all clients’ needs are listened to, understood and responded to in a timely way
- Ensure clear communication to the client regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget, schedules and project status/ action items
- Ensure stability of revenues by managing existing projects to ensure client needs are met
- Ensure changes are clearly communicated to client and approved
- Assess performance metrics and provide insights to improve future projects.
- Ownership of overall project success
- Responsible for defining and ensuring clarity of project scope
- Leads weekly client calls, client communications and debrief presentations
- Collates relevant post event data, including clients response on the post event evaluation
- Ensure compliance and championship of internal GPJ processes with internal and external stakeholders
Financial Management
- You will own overall responsibility for account revenue targets
- You will own the accountability for budget reconciliation and project closure within the prescribed timeframe
- You will manage the budget process from a profit generation perspective including expense management, client quoting and profit modelling
- You will manage the budget approval process and receipt of PO
- Provide quarterly reports for both the client and internal stakeholders at a global level
- You stay abreast of client billing escalation issues and ensure they are being resolved
Creative Management
- Collaborate with inter-organisation creative studio to ensure all creative content and agency solutions address the clients needs
- Participate in creative brainstorms to generate ideas for clients
Success Measures
- Develop deep trusted advisor relationships within the client
- Flawless delivery of client commitments, exceeding client expectations
- Positive team climate that inspires others to excel and deliver
- Seen as a valuable leader of inspiring the team to deliver beyond client expectations
- Expand current retained business and ensure continued repeat business with client
Please note this role requires up to 25% travel.
