Responsibilities:

  1. You will be responsible in control system testing activity, accountable for assigned work including system testbed wiring and commissioning, system test execution, failure analysis and reporting for Rockwell Automation product, including controller and I/O platform.
  2. You are going to work with System Test leads and others team members closely in executing firmware centric system testing, discover the system related product failures, investigating and characterized the failure and report product defects promptly using assigned tools and template.
  3. You are required elementary proficient PLC knowledge to ensure defects are characterized accurately by developer and root cause is clearly understood in verification the resolution provided by developer.
  4. The scope of work is generally focused on system test engineering tasks to ensure quality products are developed.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields
  • Knowledge and expertise in Test Engineering processes (Any methodology, such as Agile, continuous integration, waterfall) and methods for test case design and test coverage optimization.
  • Knowledge and expertise in test automation methodologies.
  • Programming experience in ladder programming.
  • Programming experience in scripting languages will be advantageous (preferably Python)
  • Experience/knowledge of industrial automation and PLC application
  • Familiarity with Rockwell products, in particular with IO’s, controller’s families, and RSLogix5000/500 Application Software will be advantageous
  • Demonstrated a strong technical and problem-solving skills
  • 5 years’ experience in test engineering
  • Comfortable with embedded system knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in teams, action-oriented, and possesses strong drive for results
  • Passionate with testing and curious to explore.
  • Report progress to managers, leads and escalate issues on timely manner to project or management.
