Job Responsibilities / Job Brief

The fund accountant will support all day-to-day matters relating to multiple funds including:

  • Reconcile cash positions
  • Research and resolve positions related discrepancies with operations team
  • Calculate monthly performance and produce performance related reporting to investors and management
  • Work with fund administrator to clear KYC/AML for subscription and redemption
  • Assist with information for marketing presentations and DDQs
  • Prepare investor level reporting related to fund performance
  • Respond to specific client accounting and tax requests
  • Assist in fund related audit and regulatory reporting

Work on new fund initiatives within the group and Firm-wide to improve efficiency

Work on cross-department projects with other colleagues within the Firm

Requirements

  • Demonstrable work experience in a similar investment/fund accounting role at an asset management firm, ideally with asset class such as equities, fixed income or commodities.
  • Knowledge of fund structure such as
  • UCITS and European vehicle
  • Cayman Fund
  • Singapore Fund
  • Japan Fund
  • Attention to details
  • Strong proficiency in Excel

Good to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance/qualified accountant a plus.
