Technical manager is a leader who oversees projects and ensures the successful implementation of technical processes into construction process. He/She forms a connection between technical personnel and the wider organisation, translating complex technical language into construction business terminology.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Developing and overseeing the project technical implementation strategy for the organization or project includes defining BIM goals, objectives, and standards, as well as establishing protocols for project collaboration and coordination.

2. Lead a team of project coordinators/modelers for all disciplines including Architecture, Civil Structural, Mechanical & Electrical and BIM specialists.

3. Collaborating with project stakeholders to determine requirements and developing a comprehensive BEP, maintain and update.

4. Developing and maintaining project standards, protocols, and workflows.

5. Setting up, maintain and manage the Project’s Common Data Environment (CDE) and folders/ filing structure.

6. Facilitating effective collaboration among project team members, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure proper integration and coordination of BIM models and data.

7. Manage and distribute project construction phase for submittals, construction models, shop drawings and schedules.

8. Prepare, manage, monitor, track and update the clash detection analysis reports, model changes records and 3D coordination schedule.

9. Establishing data management strategies to effectively capture, organize, and maintain project information within the BIM environment.

10. Providing training and support to project team members on BIM software tools, processes, and standards.

11. Monitoring and evaluating the performance and effectiveness of BIM processes and workflows.

12. Engage project team members to innovate and leverage advanced digital/BIM tools and methodology to improve quality, productivity, and project delivery.

13. Participate in all necessary project meetings facilitated by the Interfacing Parties to provide necessary support and information for interfacing contracts’ BEP development and 3D Coordination works.

14. Oversee, coordinate, and manage the project team members to meet all deliverables submissions and information exchange schedules.

Requirements:

1. Degree/ Master Degree in Engineering management /Construction management or equivalent.

2. Minimally 6 years’ experience in building construction and project execution.

3. Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks.

4. Keen to lead and manage BIM and Digital development.

5. Aware of relevant regulations and Singapore authority submissions.

6. Certificate in BIM Management / VDC will be an advantage.ressure.

8. Certificate in BIM Management / VDC will be an advantage.

8. Knowledge of 4D, 5D and 6D will be an added advantage.

9. Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge in construction management will be an advantage for this post.

10. Good communication, writing & interpersonal skills.

11. Adaptable to working both independently and as a team player, with the ability to work under pressure and meet submission deadlines.
