  • Implement safety procedures and emergency response plans.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to maintain high operational standards.

3. Staff Management

  • Supervise recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Ensure crew certifications and licenses are up to date.
  • Promote a culture of safety and teamwork among staff.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Manage operational budgets, maintenance expenses, and fuel efficiency strategies.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

5. Logistics & Coordination

  • Plan vessel schedules, cargo operations, and port logistics.
  • Ensure Berthing Excellence
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including port authorities, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Optimize voyage planning for efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, Maritime Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the maritime/shipping industry.
  • Strong knowledge of international maritime laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
