Job Role:
Strategic planning and develop cost effective & low risk manufacturing/assembly process steps/planning from raw material to completion including special processes through Product Quality Plan(PQP).
Key Area of Responsibilities:
- Transfer of Project, Technology, System from customer to VDL for New product development.
- Feasibility study for New Assembly.
- Identify the facilities/supplies required for the assembly.
- Define and establish Project Plan for Assembly to meet on time delivery.
- Resolve technical issues in assembly to ensure smooth production.
- Manage technical changes to fulfill customer requirement.
- Implement improvements to processes for cost effectiveness.
- Support and participate in company continuous improvement program.
Qualification & Experiences:
- Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical or Precision Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a process engineer in the Contract Manufacturing industry or equivalent.
- Mechanical and electrical workmanship
- Experience in working in cleanroom will be an advantage
- Good problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel functions
- Good communication skills
