Job Summary:

Lead and manage team to gather and establish needs and aspirations of caregivers, develop knowledge and skills, delegate responsibilities, supervise and review roles and plans to identify and create resources for enabling caregivers in the community.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties:

1.Oversee the Caregivers Support department

  • Deliver screening and care coordination over TOUCH Care Line through a team of Care Coordinators
  • Evaluate and develop Care Line and Facebook resources for caregiver support

2. Lead and manage team

  • Create and coordinate platforms and programmes
  • Develop protocols and procedures to implement programmes and activities
  • Delegating roles and responsibilities
  • Evaluate outputs and outcomes

3. Develop internal collaborations and external partnerships

  • Identify and acquire resources for collaborations
  • Oversee programme implementation
  • Represent organisation for networking and partnership

4. Service and team development

  • Mentor and coach team members for extension or expansion of service, projects and programmes
  • Create and facilitate opportunities to acquire and practice essential knowledge and skills
  • Identify and create opportunities to engage community stakeholders and partners

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in recognised institutions
  • 8 years of experience in community development, project management and partnerships
  • Social Worker background is preferred

  • Empathetic and Passionate to work with Caregivers and vulnerable populations in the community
  • Has integrity and is committed to building trust in relationships
  • Interest in people development – mentoring and coaching
