
Quality Assurance Executive (Central Kitchen)
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Executive (Central Kitchen) to join our growing team. You must be someone who thrives in a fast-paced food production environment and is committed to ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.
You will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes in our central kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Job Description:
- Conduct routine quality inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of food safety management systems, including HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards.
- Work closely with the Production, R&D, and Procurement teams to address quality issues and ensure consistency in food production.
- Develop, review, and implement quality control procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and specifications for raw materials and finished products.
- Investigate and resolve non-conformities, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations and conduct internal audits to maintain high standards.
- Establish and implement initiatives to enhance food quality, safety, and efficiency in the production process.
- Conduct training sessions for production staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality control protocols.
- Liaise with R&D and Production teams to validate new products, standardize recipes, and document processes through SOPs and training materials.
- Monitor equipment calibration and hygiene practices to maintain production efficiency and compliance with food safety requirements.
- Handle customer complaints related to central kitchen products, lead investigations, and implement corrective measures.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent).
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience in the related field.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise and communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality management systems such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO is an advantage.
- A responsible team player with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Fast learner with strong multitasking skills.
- Preferably able to start work immediately or on short notice.
