Project /Site Coordinator
Preparing project start-up and execution schedule.
Define and manage key project targets - time, cost, quality, resources, EHS and contractual.
Liaise with clients on all project matters.
Manage sub-contractors and consultants.
Review construction programme.
Assist in tendering proposals.
Manage company resources, workers, vehicles, machinery.
Oversee supervisors/engineers
Preparing claims and handle all the project claims
Day-to-day management of site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
Attend to vessel inspections and marine site meeting
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules and resource allocation, to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
Technical Support: Provide engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle, assisting in technical proposal development, understanding project requirements, and performing equipment selections.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison among clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and progress.
Quality and Compliance Assurance: Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and compliance records.
Requirements:
At least 2 year experience
BCA recognized engineering degree is preferred.
Good all-round understanding of various trades in marine craft/construction.
Good planning capability with a focus on resource management.
Effective communication with clients, sub-contractors, and staff.
Understanding of costs and contractual matters.
Understand the process of authority submissions.
Good writing and document management skills
Varied project experience
Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken, written, and reading) is preferred to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers
