Role and responsibilities

  • Provide daily on-site support for End User Computing Devices (EUCD) and Windows Servers.
  • Key support areas include server administration, user account management, security hardening, troubleshooting, and end-user awareness briefings.
  • Support various devices, including Windows Servers, Microsoft SQL Servers, desktops, notebooks, mobile devices, video conferencing tools, IP telephones, printers, and peripherals.

  • EUCD and Windows Server Management:
    • Escort suppliers for installation and maintenance.
    • Apply patches for Windows Servers and Microsoft SQL Servers.
    • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, software, and drivers on EUCD.
    • Ensure EUCD compliance with security policies, including endpoint protection software.
    • Set up, relocate, and dispose of EUCD and peripherals as per instructions.
    • Assist with EUCD setup for briefings or presentations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of End User Computing Devices (EUCD) Support, ICT End User Computing or Service Desk Agent experience with networking and system administration background.
  • 1+ year of experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server administration.
  • Ability to identify the likely causes of incidents escalated by Level 1 EUCD Support Engineers
  • Able to apply the known solutions related to these more complex issues.
